Abstract

This work; has been tried to determine how much the visual arts course curriculum has contributed to foreign secondary school students studying in Samsun. The difficulties experienced by the students in terms of foreign students while applying for the program and the deficiencies are seen in the program related to foreign students are important in terms of program development studies. Teachers, who are the practitioners of the program, are the most reliable information in order to make a decision about the effectiveness and adequacy of the visual arts course curriculum on foreign students. For this, the opinions of 19 visual arts teachers, who are foreign students in Samsun, were consulted. This study is qualitative research in the descriptive research model. The data of this research, which was carried out according to the case study pattern, were collected with semi-structured interview forms. The data were obtained from interviews with 19 visual arts teachers who have foreign students in Samsun in the 2020-2021 academic year. At the end of the research, it was aimed to determine the problems experienced by the visual arts teachers in terms of foreign students while applying the curriculum, and the deficiencies they saw in the program related to foreign students.
