The aim of this research is to identify the size of the role that social media plays in increasing the political participation of Yemenis living in Turkey, the motives for their use of social media sites, and the extent of the participation of Yemenis living in Turkey in the political movement taking place in Yemen, and this research falls within the descriptive research that seeks To describe the characteristics and dimensions of the phenomenon by using a questionnaire form on a random sample of Yemenis living in Turkey. The research has reached a set of results, the most important of which are the following: The research sample follows specific pages with a rate of 67.48% in its interaction with political issues in Yemen, followed by a follow-up of celebrities, politicians or media professionals with a percentage of 61.93% as a form of interaction that contributed to the briefing of the sample Researching political issues in Yemen. The results indicated that the research sample believes that social media has created new celebrities in the political field by 72.06%, while the rate of follow-up of political events in Yemen through social media affects by 74.35% the mood of the research sample, whether the trend of change in mood is joy or sadness. The results indicated that the WhatsApp application is the first way to inform the research sample of political issues in Yemen, with a percentage of 77.29%.
