ANALYSING OF VALUE EDUCATION IN TEACHERS' MEMORIES

This study it was tried to analyze the learning observation and experiences of teacher-related to values education in their student life. It aimed to indicate what value education is in teachers' memories, how it was gained, what the methods of teaching are, how it is reflected in practice, and how it affects teachers' professional lives. The qualitative research method was used in the study and analyses were made by the case study method. The participants were reached by purposive sampling method. There are 60 teachers from different five schools in the center of Diyarbakir in the educational year 2021-2022. It's obtained in the study that teachers have experienced intense values such as love, respect, and benevolence in their students' lives. Also, teachers stated that while training to internalize values, they became models with their own lifestyles or they thought this in their lessons by explaining frequently. It has been determined that values education has turned into a learning style in their own lives in the process of studentship and adulthood and it has an important place in the process of socialization.
