Social enterprises, which first emerged in Europe, then in the USA, and are spread all over the world today, are seen as organizations that operate for a social purpose or create social value. Social enterprises offer the social and economic values created to the society as added value. In today's world full of inequalities, the need for social enterprises that respond to the help demands of excluded, disadvantaged, or low-income individuals is increasing day by day. In this direction, it is aimed to present a conceptual framework of social enterprises, which are seen as one of the important organizational structures of today. In the study, first of all, the concept of social enterprise and the characteristics of social enterprises were mentioned and examples of successful social enterprises of national and international origin were included.
