Ergonomics is a discipline in science based on the industrial revolution and the aim of providing pure efficiency for users. Over time ergonomics evolved to become an interdisciplinary phenomenon and it also formed the basis of design disciplines dealing with human beings. Ergonomic in interior design is based on ensuring comfort by meeting the needs of the people who is the user of the space correctly. The dimensions and forms of the spaces to be designed and the equipment elements within that space are due to the anthropometry of the person who will use it. Based on this, a study on interior ergonomics and space experience was made with first-grade students within the scope of the Ergonomics course of Avrasya University Interior Architecture Department. In this study, it was aimed to inform first class students of the Interior Architecture Department about user anthropometry and interior ergonomics relation on the basis of furniture and accessories. In this context, it is the main aim of the students who have theoretical pre-knowledge to learn the interior ergonomics by practicing the spaces with prototypes of 1/2 scale. At the end of the study, it was observed that the students perceived the spaces that they had experienced by playing and they perceived the criteria that they should pay attention in terms of indoor ergonomics in their space organizations. This is thought to be an important experience in organizing similar spaces in interior design studies
