In recent years, occupational health and safety has become a popular topic in many sectors and has been brought up by legal regulations both in our country and worldwide. Referring to Turkey's ratified that EU directives and ILO conventions, in our country as occupational health and image in No. 6331 date of the Law on June 30, 2012, related to the Official Newspapers of Turkey published on behalf of the occupational health and safety constitute the beginning of a new era in Turkey. However, when we look at the statistics of occupational accidents, most of the studies carried out in the name of legal regulations are carried out in order to meet the requirements rather than creating a healthy and safe working environment in the workplace.
In this study, the concepts of occupational health, safety, security climate and security culture which are directly related to this concept are discussed in detail in order to establish occupational health and safety culture, to assimilate this concept and to form the basis for the studies in this field.
