A REVIEW OF THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF FIRMS IN THE PAPER SECTOR TRADED IN BIST: 2014-2018

Abstract

In this study, the financial performance evaluation of 12 companies traded in BIST, which is part of paper and Paper Products, was carried out. The topsis method was selected as the evaluation method and the data were evaluated based on financial ratios. The time frame of application covers the years 2014-2018. As a result of the application process, it was determined that Doğan and Prism companies were ahead in financial performance in 2014, 2015 and 2016. As of all the years examined, Bak ambalaj and Olmuksan companies were ranked last and there was no significant increase or decrease in their performance
