Abstract

In this study, medicinal plants used as folk medicine in the vicinity of Edirne for respiratory system diseases such as cold, bronchitis, sinusitis, asthma, shortness of breath have been investigated. A total of 384 people were surveyed in Edirne province and districts. Socio-demographic characteristics, which plant and how they used the plant for which disease, from whom they learned the herbal application methods, and their benefits from this treatment were determined from the people surveyed. The results of the survey are given as comparative tables
