Dervish lodge poetry took its source from İslam religion and Sufism, in the 13th century it had begun to show itself. In the 15th century with spreading of the Sufi opinion, various sects developed rapidly around it. The 16th century is the brightest era of dervish lodge poetry. One of the most important poets of this era, in which a good many strong representatives grew up is Abdurrahîm-i Tirsî is a mystic one, at the same time he is a sheikh who belongs to Kâdirî dervish order’s Eşrefiyye section and had lived between late 15th century and early 16th century in Anatolia. He composed his poems by inspiring divan and people poems’ manners. The poet who from time to time we feel the effect of Yunus Emre and Eşrefoğlu Rûmî on his poets and also because of writing on Sufistic subjects by using syllabic meter he can be accepted as a dervish lodge poet in Anatolia.
In this study, some information will be given about Abdurrahîm-i Tirsî’s life and beside this his literary personality starting from his Divan will be evaluated. The data which obtained by analysing his poems will be a useful guide to someone who will search in this field in the future
