Abstract

Albania gained independence in 1912, the transition to democracy and his kingdom until 1991, including the socialist regime has been managed with various anti-democratic methods. Pave the way for a transition to democracy in 1991, the new Albanian Constitution and the rapid transition to a multiparty political system and democratic political reforms occurred in the country's troubled history traces deletion is studied. As a result of the reforms initiated by the transition to democracy in 2006 gained the status of potential candidate countries to the EU, Albania continued reforms towards democracy and continues to be fast and in this way enjoys the support of the EU and the public. Transition to Democracy in Albania and the European Union to Albania People's Thoughts About The Way Reforms titled this research; mainly consists of three sections. In the first part of the research topics and methods, in the third chapter in the second part of the conceptual framework of the research results of the data analysis in the light of the findings obtained in the thoughts of the people of Albania is located. According to the findings obtained from the survey data; Albania's transition to democracy and towards European Union welcomed the reforms but that the impact of the reform of the Albanian people saying they can not be considered sufficient. In particular, reforms in bureaucratic procedures and red tape and bureaucracy reduced believes it is seen that in the past. However, a fair trial, public accountability, transparency and corruption issues such as the impact of reforms can be said that they believe is inadequate. In short, reforms towards democratization by the Albanian people they believed to be positive, but insufficient evidence has been reached
