Joseph Raz, argues that law claims authority and accepts this is a fact that exists in nature of all law systems. According
to him law, whatever specialty it has, inherently claims authority. According to Raz, the importance is in service of law
in terms of law’s authority. Law, mediates for benefit of subjects bringing together subjects and reasons of right acts.
Hence, law does not create value directly but it is the best tool for providing valuable life by being authority. As Raz
attributes such a function to law and base the content of law on social facts, it makes him to be seen as positivist and antipositivist.
