The Gokturk era has a very important place in Turkish history. Because the word “Turk” was first used in Gokturks time. In this study, the tradition of Gokturk era clothing is emphasized. Although this culture is also an important factor in understanding the differences in status, it is known that it has developed in line with the social-cultural values or the living conditions and traditions required by the period. Clothing culture that develops in line with the needs, lifestyle and social structure of the society plays a big role in understanding the cultural and social structure of Gokturk. From the written sources and visual descriptions of the Gokturk people that have survived to the present day, many works related to the clothing and equipment of the culture in question are of great importance in this respect. The stylistic descriptions of the painting and sculpture art of the Gokturk period provide important data regarding the tradition of dressing. This study presents an artistic and social evaluation of the works of Gokturk, which are exhibited in museums, in the light of data obtained from printed and digital source scans
