Abstract

The buying and consumption behaviors of people in daily life are repetitive. People make their consumption and purchases where they are used to. After a while, consumption becomes a habit. Habits influence informed decision-making and are influenced by various factors. Consumption is very important for all sectors. Determination of consumption habits is to enable enterprises to produce more efficiently. Therefore, today's household consumption habits are analyzed by various researches. In this study, the analysis of household consumption habits was conducted with the Bor district sample. In addition to demographic information, the rationality of household consumption, rational behavior levels of households and the relationship between household income and consumption expenditures were investigated. As a result of the research, it is seen that as the consumption rationality level of the household increases, the level of income and consumption expenditure increases. As the rational behaviors of households increased, income and consumption expenditures increased. Gender, age, marital status and educational level did not affect household consumption rationality, household rational behavior levels, household income and consumption expenditures. Profession, monthly average income and additional income affect household consumption rationality, rational behavior levels of households, household income and consumption expenditures.
