FIELD RESEARCH ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SMART DRUG UTILIZATION AND HEALTH PERCEPTION

This study was conducted to evaluate the factors related to individuals’ health perception and smart drug utilization. When determining individuals’ health perceptions and evaluating their health behaviors, it is also noteworthy to understand their perspective of health and behaviors. Smart drug utilization is an important part of healthcare systems and drugs play a key role in restoring health when they are used correctly. The present study was conducted by carrying out online and face-to-face surveys with individuals aged 18 and older living in Marmara Region between 10.03.2023 with 17.03.2023. According to the study results, it was found that there is a significant and moderate relationship between health perception and smart drug utilization a positive direction. It was determined that health perception affects smart drug utilization positively. According to these results, it is possible to state that health perception is a determinant of smart drug utilization.
