THE IMPORTANCE OF SAFETY CULTURE IN THE CHEMICAL SECTOR

Abstract

Chemicals sector in Turkey is growing with each passing day, the number of chemicals produced and the amount is increasing at this rate. Many occupational accidents occur every year in the chemical industry, which is a very dangerous industry. Occupational health and safety teams work in many areas to prevent these accidents. In this study, safety culture, one of the occupational safety measures in the chemical industry, was evaluated.
