In this study, "Beyaz Şemsiye" (White Umbrella), one of the short-short stories written by Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil, who is one of the pioneers of modern Turkish literature in the narrative style, was examined in terms of theme and structural elements. In the introduction part of the study, the importance of Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil in this genre was mentioned by giving brief information about the story and modern Turkish storytelling in general. Then, by giving the publication information of the story "Beyaz Şemsiye"; the story is analyzed under eight headings: plot, subject and theme, personal staff, time, space, narrative techniques, narrator and point of view, language and style. In the conclusion part, a general evaluation of the story is made
