This research, which examines the communication competencies of teachers, was conducted in Denizli in 2022-2023. The study is a quantitative study in the screening model. In the research, easily accessible samples and data obtained with the participation of 433 teachers were used. The highest level of communication competencies of teachers is the adaptation competency, which is at a very good level. This was followed by empathy and listening competencies and other competencies at the "Good" level. Teachers' views on communication skills differed significantly in favor of males in terms of gender, social behavior competence, human relations, listening competence, and communication competence in general. Teachers' views on communication skills are high in favor of those who are older than their social behavior proficiency, individual aspects in communication, sensitivity, human relations, and general communication proficiency. The communication skills of those who received awards in social behavior competence, individual aspects of communication, adaptability competence, sensitivity competence, human relations, and general communication competence were significantly higher than those who did not receive awards, according to whether or not teachers' communication skills received an award. There was a significant difference in favor of the trainees in social behavior competence, individual aspects in communication, empathy competence, sensitivity competence, communication incentive competence, human relations, and general communication competencies according to whether or not they received training on communication skills. It has been determined that the teachers' views on communication skills are high in favor of teachers in all dimensions and generally in favor of teachers' career levels.
