In this study, teachers' views on the criteria that can be used in evaluating the performance of school administrators working in primary schools in four central districts of Diyarbakır were examined. In order to obtain the data, a two-part Likert scale consisting of a total of 44 items was used. The scale was applied by taking the opinions of 212 teachers working in randomly selected primary schools working in schools located in four central districts of Diyarbakır in the 2021-2022 academic year. When the results obtained according to the gender, branch and seniority of the teachers are analysed, the opinions of the teachers about their administrators are at a positive level according to gender, but the opinions of female teachers are more positive than the opinions of male teachers. The opinions of the teachers working as branch teachers were more positive, and the classroom teachers evaluated the behaviours of the administrators related to providing motivation more positively.
