DETERMINING THE DIGITAL LITERACY LEVELS OF PRIVATE SECURITY AND PROTECTION PROGRAM STUDENTS

There are several factors that affect individuals' ability to innovate. Digital literacy is one of them and has important implications for individual innovation behavior in life. The aim of this study is to determine the digital literacy levels of Kocaeli University Private Security and Protection program students. The study group of the research; It consists of 267 participants who are in Kocaeli University in the 2020-2021 academic year and continue their education at associate degree level. Digital Literacy Scale, which was adapted to Turkish by Üstündağ et al. (2017) and whose validity-reliability study was performed, was used as data collection tools. When the analysis results are examined; It was observed that the participants also have medium level digital literacy skills.
