MEASUREMENT OF PREPARATORY CLASS STUDENTS' PERCEPTIONS ON TEACHER EVALUATION PROCESSES IN LANGUAGE TEACHING

This study was carried out to measure prep-class students’ perceptions on teacher evaluation processes. The data were collected from prep-class students studying English at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University in 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 academic years. In this context, the related literature review was investigated and a conceptual framework was drawn. Then, a questionnaire form of Al-Abbadi et al.’s (2009) was selected to gain the data over 178 students. The data were analyzed over SPSS program and as a result, it was determined that the students were evaluated fairly by their teachers and this had positive effects on the academic achievement of the students
