Abstract

As a result of the development of information and communication technologies and its effective use in all areas of social life, the expectations of individuals from urban life started to differentiate. Today, a large part of the country's population lives in urban areas, which brings with it some problems. In order to solve the problems in the cities, the city administrations are increasingly using information and communication technologies more and more. The problems that arise due to the population density are the security of the cities and the creation of more livable spaces. In this context, cities must adopt an intelligent approach that optimizes resources and uses the method of meeting the critical infrastructure services in order to ensure a sustainable life, with an optimum approach to the resources and to prevent the expected security needs.
In this context, the main purpose of the study; The study of intelligent security applications in the transformation of cities into smart cities. In this context, it will be tried to analyze smart cities, what are the dimensions of intelligent security applications, how successful examples are carried out in ensuring intelligent security and how policies should be carried out in order to achieve these practices and methods for providing cyber security for smart cities.
