A RESEARCH ON DETERMINING THE SATISFACTION LEVEL OF THE EXPECTATIONS OF CPA’S FROM OFFICE STAFF: THE CASE OF AKSARAY CITY

The aim of this study is to determine the expectations level of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from their office
workers. The data were obtained by applying a questionnaire to the CPA (n=56) operating in Aksaray. Expression groups
were included in the questionnaire as regards the use of office, computers, and information about computer programs,
correspondence and filing, communication, foreign language, accounting and finance by office workers. The data
obtained by questionnaire were analyzed by SPSS package program. Hypothesis tests were performed using reliability
analysis, ANOVA and T tests in analysis process. In addition, the demographic characteristics of the CPA and their
expectations from the office workers were examined. According to the research findings, it was reached that the staff of
the office meet the expectations of the CPA in general, apart from the foreign language. There was no difference between
the CPA’s gender, number of employees who graduated from office management department, number of employees and
level of satisfaction. It was found that there was a difference between the professional experience of the CPA and their
expectations
