The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of error-based activity applications used in science lessons on students' achievement on this subject. A total of 31 Grade 7 students from a secondary school in the two different branches in Turkey towards this objective has been selected. One of the branches is the experimental group to be used for error-based activity applications; while the other group was randomly selected as the control group. In the study where an unequal control pattern was used, the application was made for three weeks. Data from the study; achievement tests. Findings from the achievement test revealed that the students in the experimental group were more successful than the control group in the subjects related to the science lesson.
