ANALYSIS OF THE PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED BY PRINCIPAL AUTHORIZED TEACHERS WORKING IN MULTIGRADE SCHOOLS AND THE SOLUTIONS DEVELOPED FOR THESE PROBLEMS

This research aims to present the problems faced by the principal-authorized teachers regarding the school operation in the Multigrade schools where they work and the solutions they have developed for these problems based on the opinions expressed by the principal-authorized teachers. Qualitative technique, one of the scientific research methods, was used in the research. The study group the research consists of 12 participants who work as principal-authorized teachers in Multigrade schools in the Sur district of Diyarbakir. In the research, a semi-structured interview form with 9 questions developed by the researcher was used as a data collection tool, and the obtained data were analyzed using the content analysis technique. Some of the findings obtained in the study can be summarized as follows: In the schools where the principal authorized teachers work, they mostly encountered problems in equipping, repairing, and providing resources to the school. In addition, they stated that their allowances were insufficient, there was a shortage of staff, and these situations had negative effects on the school management, and they suggested that each school should have its own budget and staff as a solution to these problems.
