Abstract

This research, it is aimed to determine the satisfaction levels of the participants who receive service from the provincial sports centers of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and the factors affecting participant satisfaction by examining them in terms of different variables. The sample of the research consists of 449 participants who attended the Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate courses in Kayseri city center between 1 November 2020 and 31 March 2021 and were selected by random sampling method. Research data were collected through the “Sports Enterprises Customer Satisfaction Scale” (SIMMÖ) developed by Sevilmis (2015) and a personal information form was used. In the analysis of the data T-Test for pairwise comparisons and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) for multiple comparisons were used. In the research findings, when the average scores according to the customer satisfaction sub-dimensions were examined it was determined that the "qualification of sports trainers" subscale had the highest satisfaction score with an average of 4.60.  It has been determined that secondly there is the "qualification of the working environment" with an average of 4.35 points and the "development" subscale with an average of 4.28 points were in third place. And the lowest average score was the "satisfaction" subscale score average. As a result, the satisfaction levels of the participants attending the sports courses were high in terms of the qualification of the sports center and the qualification of the sports trainers. It is thought that the reason for these results is the investments made by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in sports facilities and the recruiting employment of trainers who are experts in their fields and have a university education.
