The aim of this study is to determine the opinions of classroom teachers about the participatory leadership of school principals. The problem of our study is to determine whether there is a difference in the opinions of school principals about participatory leadership characteristics according to teachers' gender, graduation and professional experience. The study group of the research consists of classroom teachers working in the city center of Zonguldak. 186 out of 310 classroom teachers participated in the study, and a face-to-face survey technique, one of the quantitative research methods, was applied to determine the opinions of these teachers about the participatory leadership perceptions of the school principals. SPSS 20 statistical package program was used in the analysis of the data obtained as a result of the field study. As a result of our research, it has been seen that the perception of school principals' participatory leadership characteristics is close to each other in male and female teachers. In terms of graduation status and professional experience, there was no significant difference between teachers and school principals' opinions about participant characteristics.
