This study aims to try to reveal the elements that reflect the Turkish identity of coffee, which is an important and enjoyable drink of daily life all over the world, in the context of Turkish Culinary Culture. Within the scope of this purpose, it has been tried to evaluate how coffee qualifies the identity by taking the name of Turkish Coffee, and what the culture and identity emphasized in production and consumption practices. In addition, the sociocultural functions of Turkish Coffee in society are also emphasized through identity. In the study, document analysis was used to obtain the data. In the conceptual study, the data obtained as a result of the literature review were divided into themes within the scope of the descriptive analysis method. Themes were created to explain the aspects of Turkish identity and culture reflected in Turkish Coffee. In this context, the themes are; The name of Turkish Coffee, the tools and equipment used, cooking methods, place, presentation, and rituals are grouped as. The identity and cultural emphasis of the findings are explained and interpreted using Barthes' semiotics approach and literature information. In the results of working; Within the framework of Turkish Culinary Culture, it has been determined that Turkish Coffee emphasizes Turkishness, Turkey, and the world view (ideology) of Turkish people. In this context, it can be said that Turkish Coffee has a promotional role as a reflection of identity and culture.
