Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal the relationship between organizational climate and organizational commitment within the
banking sector. A questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. The implementation was carried out with 200 employees of
a public bank. According to the findings, the level of emotional commitment of the participants differed according to gender;
It was found that male employees had higher emotional commitment than female employees. In addition, it was understood
that the participants' innovative, supportive and participatory climate levels differ according to their marital status and
professional experience. In addition, it was understood that the innovative climate varies according to the working time. It is
understood that there is a positive relationship between innovative, participatory and supportive climate and all dimensions of
organizational commitment. There was a negative relationship between bureaucratic climate and emotional commitment.
