The political attitudes and behaviors of the individuals in society are expressed as political socialization. When people are considered for political participation, they develop attitudes and behavior towards political decision making. People tend to participate actively or passively in political participation in order to influence or interfere with decisions that concern them. In this study which deals with university youth; the level of political knowledge, attitudes towards political decision-making mechanisms, the activities in the political arena and the behavior against the specific policies and problems of Turkey. In the study, literature was searched primarily and the subject was explained. Then using the survey technique; 680 students determined by easy sampling method and data were collected from the sample. The data were analyzed using SPSS packet programs. As a result; it is determined that the level of political participation of the students is low and that those who have political party members in the family generally have a higher participation level. It is seen that students are divided into two in terms of trust in the political system in Turkey. However, it has been determined that there is a significant relationship between the education level of the students parents and the level of political participation
