In this study, it was aimed to present the success factors in sustainable tourism and a model proposal for small tourism enterprises. In this context, data were gathered and analyzed using interview method with 16 academicians participating in 1st International Sustainable Tourism Congress organized by Kastamonu University Tourism Faculty between 23-25 November 2017. As a result of these analyzes, it has been determined necessary activities and targets of small tourism enterprises in the field of sustainable tourism and a model proposal is presented in this direction. In addition, several proposals have been made to ensure the development and sustainability of small tourism enterprises to local governments, regional marketing organizations and business managers
