Abstract

Universities have a very important role in the development of a country's economy and in the development of a country's economy with the quality of the education they provide and the scientific research they develop and the service they provide to the society. The development of universities, which are the foundation of the economy, is closely related to the development of academic and administrative staff and to ensuring job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is the satisfaction felt by an individual from his / her job, the environmental conditions he / she is in and what he / she has achieved as a result of the job. Job satisfaction affects job performance as well as making the individual happy and healthy. Determining the factors affecting the job satisfaction of the academic and administrative staff of the university has a very important place in achieving the educational and research goals of the university. In this study, factors affecting the job satisfaction of academic and administrative staff in a public university were determined and the results were evaluated. The study examines and compares academic and administrative staff satisfaction with the job, education and research opportunities, physical working conditions, management policies, communication, participation and belonging
