INVESTGATION OF THE VIEWS OF THE EMPLOYEES OF KOCAELI UNIVERSITY ON THE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY PRACTICES

Abstract

Occupational health and safety of the health and safety of employees is a field that is more and more felt in dealing with health issues. This research was carried out to determine the opinions of the employees of economic enterprises on occupational health and safety practices and to determine whether these opinions were statistically significant according to the variables. In the study conducted in the context of the descriptive survey model, the research group consisted of 132 employees of the Kocaeli University economic enterprise. In the study, ve occupational health and safety practices scale (OHSPS) was used as data collection tool. The comparisons with demographic characteristics were made by t-test and ANOVA test in order to investigate whether employees' responses to satisfaction scales vary according to their gender, age, educational status and occupational safety education. As a result of the study, it is seen that the opinions of the employees about occupational health and safety practices vary according to some variables
